Alan Silverberg 
Marketing and Communications Manager
Alan is originally from the Detroit Metropolitan area. After moving to Florida in the early 90’s, Alan completed his education, graduating with honors from the University of Tampa with a Bachelor of Fine Art, and a minor in Graphic Design and Advertising.
Judaism was an integral part of Alan’s upbringing. His family was actively involved with their synagogue for many years. Both his mother and step-father served as Presidents of their synagogue, The Birmingham Temple, where Alan had his Bar-Mitzvah, Confirmation, and Wedding.
Over the course of his career, Alan worked in Jewish non-profit for over 12 years - at the Michael-Ann Russell JCC in North Miami Beach as the Director of Marketing and Communications, and at a large conservative congregation in Boca as the Communications and PR Director. Alan is also a graphic designer, and has worked in television (on and off camera), radio, video production, and photo-shoot direction.
Before moving to Florida, Alan met his wife, Beth. Shortly thereafter they got married and continued to reside in Florida. They currently live in Hollywood Beach, Florida and have been married for 27 years.
Jamie Reid
ECEC Educator/Office and Event Coordinator
Jamie is born and raised in South Florida. She started as a part of our B’nai Aviv family working in ECEC with our toddlers and was promoted to our Event Coordinator. She brings with her years of experience as she worked at Nova Southeastern University creating events for both the Medical School and the Undergraduate school for the students, faculty and staff. She is truly passionate when it comes to her work and will bring that with her in this new role. Jamie is looking forward to meeting more of the families here at B’nai Aviv and assisting with all of your Event needs!
Linda Latos
Office Manager/Bookkeeper
Linda has been the Bookkeeper at B'nai Aviv for the past 3-years. She has over 23 years of experience as a Bookkeeper within a Jewish organizational setting. Linda enjoys meeting our congregation members, and is happy to help with any membership account needs or questions you may have.

Administrative Assistant - Religious School
Cookie has been at B’nai Aviv for nearly 30-years. She loves seeing our children grow from Kindergarten through B’nai Mitzvah, and enjoys when they stop in to say Hello when visiting from college. In her spare time she loves being with her family, especially her granddaughters.
Sherry Springer
Adminstrative Assistant/Early Childhood & Camp
Sherry is originally from the Boston area, and moved to Florida several years ago. Sherry began working in the pre-school department, our religious school, and our youth department. She loves working with children. Sherry's professional background ranges from retail to teaching. She loves working at B’nai Aviv!
Alexandra Lane (Alex)
Administrative Assistant
Alexandra is originally from Ecuador, and came to the US in the early 2000's. Her experience in Ecuador led her to working as an Executive Administrative Assistant in the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and computer service industries. She enjoys lending her skills and experience for improving productivity and business operations. Along the way, she met her soulmate/husband and they have been married for 25 happy years. Alex recently joined B’nai Aviv and is excited to start a new challenge in her career, learn more about Jewish culture, and contribute to the continued success of our congregation.
