Our Hazak Chapter provides programming for senior members of B'nai Aviv. Also known as JOY (Just Older Youth). Keep your eyes on the ENUZ for upcoming meetings and programs.
Hazak is an acronym. The chet stands for Hochmah (vision), Zayin for Ziknah (maturity), and Kuph for Kadimah (looking ahead). With these themes in mind, we seek to address the desired goals of our members. We offer opportunities to help develop a sense of community and meaningful relationships through a variety of creative programs providing information, socialization, and entertainment. A sample of our programs include a dialogue with the Rabbi on a current topic, a musical program with the Cantor, and guest speakers on a variety of topics.
Membership dues are $25 per person for Temple members and $36 for non-members.
